Description
with a brown band on a yellow background. 8 3/4 inches high, 8 1/2 inches wide, 6 1/8 inches deep, painted and incised M.M. J. Lots 45, 46, and 47 came together from a New England estate.
Condition report:
1/2\" chip along foot; otherwise no restoration or cracks. A few areas of thin glaze along foot, handle and bottom. Handbuilt, not thrown. Of the period and appears to be made at the Paul Revere Pottery, despite the lack of standard markings. From a New England estate along with lots 46 and 47.
